In a significant display of defense technology, the DRDO deployed its state-of-the-art Anti-Drone System (D4) to safeguard the skies during the 75th Republic Day celebrations in the National Capital Region (NCR). The D4 system, a marvel of Indian engineering, provided an impenetrable shield against aerial threats, ensuring the safety of the event and its attendees.
The system was seamlessly integrated with the Command and Control Post (CACP) of Delhi Police and worked in harmony with various security agencies. It stood as a silent sentinel during the Republic Day parade, Beating Retreat, and associated events, proving its mettle by successfully completing all assigned tasks.
The deployment team, consisting of experts from LRDE, DLRL, CHESS, IRDE, and M/s BEL, received accolades for their hard work and dedication. Dr. SV Kamat, Secretary DD R&D & Chairman DRDO, personally visited the installation site, commending the teams for their significant contributions to national security.
